My experience with the "Help Me Howard" segment was wonderful. Mr. Thompson and Caroline both followed up to confirm the postcards were correct and that I didn't receive a hard time. A news crew did come to the event and filmed my husband speaking about the injury he received while serving in Iraq. And though he has not yet received the level of disability funds he is entitled to nor the Purple Heart the exposure was wonderful for soldiers everywhere.
It was about 2 months back that I finally made the tough call; I had to sell my Porsche. It's a lovely car and I'm more attached to my Porsche then anything else, but the credit crunch was hitting my wallet in several ways, and cutbacks in my expenditure were called for. It was not an overnight decision, and despite serious efforts I could do nothing about the monetary mismatch. The only solution was to sell my Porsche, which was my most expensive overhead.

If you don't have time to look up the correct play before it's your turn to act, save the hand history and look it up later so you'll know what to do next time the situation arises.

It automatically sends vital information such as your name, address and the geographical location even if you are unable to speak. This feature is a must have. In some situations it can mean the difference between life and death.
Talk to people at the local schools - principals, classroom teachers, guidance counselors. Provide them with copies of your flier and business cards so they can hand them out to struggling students. Visit often so they get familiar with your name and face. Inquire about their curriculum and the textbooks or programs that they use. Explain to them that you will be striving to complement what they are trying to accomplish in the classroom and that you hope to impact the school's test scores by improving the skills of some of the weaker students.
Bigger is not always better. This holds true when it comes to boatbuilding workshops. While the tendency is to create a workplace that is large and sprawling, just the opposite can be what you actually need.
