This launcher has been rewritten in 2020 to utilize primarily an untrue Java Native Interface to communicate with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This 32bit Launcher was also ported to arm64, x86_64 shortly after it was released on the Google Play Store.
AppImageP
You can download prebuilt AppImage binary's to run on Linux x86_64 and x86. After downloading simply open terminal, chmod +x Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage and run it. With some Filemanagers you can run it with double click, similar to running an *.exe file on Windows. Otherwise run it from a Terminal ./Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage
If this is the first time you have installed an AppImage and you'd like an Icon in your startmenu
Install AppImageLauncher and then run the AppImage like before - AppImageLauncher will ask you to integrate it, click yes. You will be able to start and update the Launcher right from your startmenu
