Jason Momoa To Star In Minecraft LiveAction Movie At Warner Bros

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - From the watery kingdom of Atlantis to the dangerous deserts of Arrakis, Jason Momoa may be heading to the video game world of Minecraft for Warner Bros., Variety has confirmed.



The "Aquaman", and "Dune," stars are in talks for a live action movie based on Minecraft, the immensely popular video game that has sold more than 238,000,000 copies since its release in 2011. My Cms



Jared Hess, known for directing "Napoleon Dynamite," "Nacho Libre" and more, will helm the film. Roy Lee and Mary Parent will co-produce, and Jill Messick receives a posthumous credit as she worked on the film before her death in 2018.
