An incredible job by the Mojang group for an April Fools joke, and awesomely enjoyable to play at occasions when Minecraft 1.6.4 with the Dalek mod is just not foolish enough.Note that 2.Zero is Mojang's version of an April Fools joke!Now all the tutorials on how to put in 2.Zero are largely for older versions (e.g. before minecraft 1.6.1), so i assumed to myself: "how can i do this?"

In the future (i.g. At this time) I experimented on downloading minecraft 1.5.1 in the brand new launcher and putting in 2.Zero in that listing. And it labored! so here is the best way to do it:Step 1Begin by downloading 2.0, because it isn't supported by Mojang it's free! :D But additionally for the same purpose, it isn't on the Minecraft webpage. D:

Not to fret though, that's what YouTube is for!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JID1LKT3jr0

If you'd like the totally different versions here is the data for all of them. Like possibly you want the super hardcore mode!http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Minecraft_2.0

Step 2so now that you have downloaded it go to your launcher choose "Edit Profile" and download 1.5.1. Twitsoc

Step 3Now exit minecraft and get to your variations folder in .minecraft (please watch a video on YouTube if you do not know the way).Copy the folder called "1.5.1" (with out quotes) and name the copy "2.0" (with out quotes).

Step 4Open the 2.Zero download zip file and put "minecraft.jar" into the new "2.0" folder (both with out quotes)

Step 5Delete "1.5.1.jar"Rename the information in order that:"minecraft.jar" becomes "2.0.jar"and"1.5.1.json" turns into "2.0.json"(all with out quotes).

Step 6Open "2.0.json" with notepad++http://notepad-plus-plus.org/and edit line 2 like so:

"id": "2.0",

it should initially be:

"id": "1.5.1",

All it is best to change is the numbers between the quotes. and go away the quotes this time!Save and take pleasure in!
