Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He went to primary and secondary school. He then attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. In Architecture.



AAU also granted the honorary Doctor of Science prize. He also holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in the ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship was then known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew to become the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is now home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.
