How can you obtain the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft for absolutely nothing! (Mojang News post)

It looks like this is a preemptive post, there seems to be no redeem button on the Mojang account page right now. I'm assuming it'll be available by the time of launch.

I am able to click the redeem button on Microsoft's account and billing page but it claims to have an error. Is there a deadline for redemption?

Windows 10 will be available "today"or "tomorrow" depending the location you reside in. The button should be available at 12:01 Wednesday morning Sweden time.

Also , I'm not seeing a redeem button. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

If you have an addon that requires https, open it in ie because the link is just http.

Instructions:

Get the tool.

Once you have it running, follow the steps and it will allow you to format the USB drive or disk for the install.

Start the installer from the drive on which you first installed it.

It will install and activate automagically.

You can also save an ISO to use in the future however, you must first perform an in-place update to ensure that your key is activated.

I have tested the beta and it works perfectly.

I just downloaded it. It's amazing how optimized the game is. My PC's fans do not bother to turn on and the CPU's nearly idle all the time.

Yes, it will run excellent on mobile devices so you can expect it to perform equally good on PC.

It was delivered just now. Singleplayer LOL 22 percent CPU and 200mb #NEXTGEN There is a slight mouse delay, but it otherwise looks great. I would like to edit a few more settings such as AA and Mip-Mapping. Textures get mushy after some distance and the water glare is weird. Apart from that I'm very happy with the port guys.

I've noticed the same issue mouse acceleration can be weird as well.

It's a sloppy port at the moment. It runs on C++, so it runs super smooth. It requires some work to be compatible with the PC players. we love minecraft servers As of right now it appears to be a mobile game.

Forgive me if this is an insignificant question But how do you get it already? Did some users get Windows 10 early?
